Role Overview
Maintenance Foreman at Matar Al Baqmi Holding Company. This role oversees daily maintenance operations within an industrial setting, ensuring efficient and safe execution of all maintenance tasks.
Role Purpose
Lead maintenance operations to ensure machinery and equipment perform reliably, minimize downtime, and extend asset life through systematic preventive and corrective maintenance programs while maintaining full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance Execution
- Supervise daily maintenance activities and ensure that all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in machinery and equipment.
- Monitor performance metrics and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Maintenance Planning & Programs
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
- Assist with the procurement of parts and materials necessary for maintenance and repairs.
Documentation & Compliance
- Manage maintenance records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Team Leadership & Development
- Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Foreman or a similar leadership role within an industrial setting.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with knowledge of hydraulic systems.
- Technical certification or diploma in engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
