Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

Maintenance Engineer at KBR. This role operates under direct supervision and serves as an entry to intermediate-level position in the engineering function.

Role Purpose

Independently evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to support maintenance operations. With growing experience in one functional area, assist in designing larger and more complex assignments involving conventional plans, investigations, and surveys with relatively few complex features for which precedents exist.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Analysis & Evaluation

• Evaluate engineering problems and requirements independently using sound judgment.
• Select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures.
• Make minor adaptations and modifications to established criteria as needed.

Design & Planning Support

• Assist in the design of larger and more complex assignments.
• Develop conventional engineering plans, investigations, and surveys.
• Handle assignments with relatively few complex features where precedents exist.

Impact & Operations

• Perform job tasks that impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Typical experience ranging from 3 to 7 years.
