Role Overview

Maintenance Crew at wasl, operating golf course facilities in the United Arab Emirates. Reports to Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Role Purpose

Ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and keep all turf and landscape areas in the best condition possible.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation & Maintenance

• Operate equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Submit assigned equipment to scheduled maintenance.
• Report abnormalities noticed in equipment for repairs.
• Perform routine cleaning on units including washing after use, refueling, and degreasing when necessary.

Organizational Contribution

• Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organizational growth.
• Represent the department or group in various committees such as Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, or Sport Committee.
• Be trained as a Fire Marshal or First Aider as required.

Quality & Service Standards

• Maintain awareness of Viya Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Apply the 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and external customers.

Information Security

• Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl.
• Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
• Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by wasl IT Department.
• Immediately report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected) to the IT Service Desk.

General Duties

• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• One to two years of experience in a similar position.
