MACHINE OPERATOR

Role Overview

Machine Operator at Napco National. The role involves operating cutting machinery safely and efficiently while maintaining low waste rates and delivering high-quality output.

Role Purpose

Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining a low average of waste and producing the best quality reachable outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Machine Management

• Set the machine properly and perform size changes.
• Ensure proper handling of raw material received and returned from and to the Raw Material warehouse.
• Verbally inform the Lead Operator and the Line Setter of any problem that occurs on the machine.

Quality & Production

• Facilitate the work of the Quality Inspector and ensure the conformity of the product requirements with the standard finished goods specifications.
• Fill in the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.

Maintenance & Housekeeping

• Ensure proper cleaning of the line during the shift and month close.
• Make sure all finished goods pallets, waste bin, waste trolley and raw material are in their dedicated place.

Safety & Compliance

• Comply with and follow safety and environmental instructions and participate in toolbox talks given by HSE officer.
• Participate at all applicable levels and functions in the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Flexible Packaging and Cutting Technology.
• Minimum two years of hands-on experience in the Cutting field.

Skills & Competencies

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Cutting process.
• Strong understanding of the printing process.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in computer applications, with expertise in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in challenging conditions.

Additional Information

• Must maintain good health and be capable of working under physically demanding conditions, including hot weather.
