MACHINE OPERATOR

Role Overview

Machine Operator at Napco National.

Role Purpose

Run the machine safely and efficiently while maintaining a low average of waste and producing the best quality reachable outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Quality & Production

• Support the Quality Inspector to ensure all products meet standard finished goods specifications.
• Accurately complete the daily production report and submit it to the Production Team Leader.
• Set up the machine correctly and perform size changeovers as needed.

Operations & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of the production line during the shift and at month-end.
• Handle raw materials appropriately, including receiving, returning, and transferring to and from the Raw Material Warehouse.
• Promptly notify the Lead Operator and Line Setter of any machine issues.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all finished goods pallets, waste bins, waste trolleys, and raw materials are stored in their designated areas.
• Follow all safety and environmental guidelines and participate in HSE toolbox talks.
• Take part in all relevant levels of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) system activities, including development, planning, evaluation, and improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the extrusion field.
• Solid understanding of the extrusion and printing processes.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good physical condition and ability to work in hot and demanding environments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and in challenging conditions.
