Role Purpose

Develop ultra-low latency, high throughput trading systems and engineer cutting-edge platforms that support trading and research efforts. You will drive innovation in the frameworks underlying trading applications and optimize critical software services for peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

System Development & Engineering

• Work directly with traders, researchers, and other developers to engineer ultra-low latency, high throughput trading systems.
• Take projects from conception through to deployment.
• Build massively scalable, flexible, and forward-looking platforms and systems.

Performance Optimization

• Drive innovation for the frameworks upon which trading applications are based.
• Benchmark and tune critical software services to achieve optimum performance.
• Execute performance tuning and optimization of low latency software.

Qualifications & Experience

• Demonstrable success building high performance software.
• Experience building latency-sensitive systems with strong understanding of low-level systems and network development.
• Experience writing assembly code desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment.
• Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective.
• Strong understanding of network protocols.
• Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel.
• Interest in x86 Assembly.
