Role Overview
Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist at CB&I. This Professional role is responsible for maintaining commercial relationships with logistics service providers and coordinating shipments to support project sites, fabrication shops, and warehouses, with focus on best service, price, and terms. The position reports to the Senior Supply Chain Manager.

Role Purpose
The Logistics & Trade Compliance Specialist initiates and coordinates shipments while maintaining strong relationships with logistics service providers and ensuring full compliance with import, export, and trade regulations across CB&I's markets and operations. The role serves as an industry expert recognized in CB&I markets, products, clients, and customers.
Key Responsibilities

- Proactively embrace and promote the company's HSE requirements and culture.
Trade Compliance & Regulatory Affairs
- Provide advice and guidance to senior leadership and company personnel on the application of government import and export regulations for the countries in which CB&I operates.
- Coordinate with business units to ensure compliance with local, regional and global trade compliance requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable import and export regulations, customs requirements, sanctions, and trade laws.
- Manage export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and shipping documentation.
- Support internal and external audit commitments including assessments, requests for information, process enhancements, and corrective actions.
Logistics Operations
- Lead logistics activities including domestic and international transportation, freight coordination, warehousing, and material delivery execution.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to support project schedules, operational requirements, and customer commitments.
Professional Development
- Actively seek and utilize an effective mentoring relationship within the department.

General Duties
- Perform other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3–5 years' experience in a logistics discipline with practice of regulatory compliance with import and export regulations related to the international oil and gas industry.
- College degree or industry equivalent certifications.
- Experience working with international customs and export control laws highly preferred.
- EPC industry experience.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal and civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

- This role routinely interacts with localized Supply Chain team, Project Managers, Accounting, Engineering, and other key stakeholders.
