Role Purpose
Design, implement, and improve logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment. Optimize supply chain efficiency, coordinate with suppliers, and manage transportation and storage solutions to support project success.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
- Develop and manage logistics plans aligned with project requirements.
- Coordinate procurement, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Forecast logistical needs in collaboration with engineering and procurement teams.
Supply Chain & Inventory Optimization
- Analyze and optimize supply chain and inventory processes.
- Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
- Troubleshoot logistics issues.
Financial Management
- Assist in budgeting and cost control related to logistics.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in logistics engineering or supply chain management, preferably in construction or industrial sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Familiarity with logistics software and data analysis tools.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
