Role Overview
Logistics Incharge (Technical & Planning) at ABIS. The role oversees and coordinates logistics operations to ensure efficient planning, execution, and control of the supply chain.
Role Purpose
To manage the technical aspects of logistics activities, liaise with various stakeholders, and support project requirements to optimize resource utilization and timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
- Plan and coordinate logistics activities to support project and operational requirements.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and plans to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Technical Logistics Management
- Manage technical logistics functions including transportation, warehousing, and inventory control.
Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
Monitoring & Compliance
- Monitor and report on logistics performance, resolving any issues or delays.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in logistics planning and technical coordination.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with the oil and gas industry logistics is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
