Role Overview
Lodging Clerk/Linen Specialist at Intrepid Global Solutions. The position is based at a Government Lodging facility and involves managing lodging operations, linen exchange, reservations, check-in/check-out, and related maintenance and inventory functions.

Role Purpose
Actively participate in all aspects of lodging and linen exchange operations to ensure successful check-in, check-out, linen services, preventative maintenance, inventory management, safety inspections, and facility cleaning while maintaining 100 percent accountability and 24/7 locator service.
Key Responsibilities
Lodging Operations & Guest Services
- Participate in linen exchange services at the Lodging Main Office for personnel checking in and out.
- Utilize Government Lodging Software to check personnel in and out of assigned rooms.
- Maintain 100 percent room and customer accountability and provide 24 hours a day / 7 days a week locator service.
- Provide at least one central lodging processing point for checking personnel in and out.
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner and de-escalate customer conflict using active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
Inventory & Data Management
- Maintain accountability and bed space assignments provided from customer transactions, First Sergeant room rosters, and room occupancy validations.
- Maintain bed down database with a minimum of required data inclusive of individual's name, rank, gender, branch of service, arrival/departure date, and building/room number assignment.
- Provide accurate rosters and other pertinent data to the company and/or government upon request.
- Maintain accurate lodging data with no more than four discrepancies allowed per month.
- Be effective in data management inclusive of data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
Linen Exchange & Processing
- Participate in linen exchange with a workload of an average of 285 linen sets per day.
- Ensure linen exchange can provide an immediate exchange of 325 individuals per hour and sustain such volume for 2 hours.
- Ensure collection of all linen in all transient tents, transient rooms, and DVQ rooms, with items delivered to the linen collection point.
Facility Maintenance & Inspections
- Accomplish daily occupancy checks of all vacant rooms.
- Perform DVQ services inclusive of making beds, cleaning DVQ rooms as required, and restocking refrigerators with water and other duties.
- Conduct building and room preventative maintenance inspections.
- Escort repair technicians as required to ensure proper maintenance and repairs of Government-owned appliances and equipment.
- Provide and manage work orders and ensure proper signage or decal on equipment requiring service.
Security & Access Control
- Maintain adequate key and door code control for all lodging facilities with no more than one discrepancy quarterly.
Supply & Equipment Management
- Participate as needed in managing and delivering expendable and non-expendable supply and equipment items including breakdown and assembly of lodging furniture.
General Operations
- Learn and successfully utilize all Government-provided software.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Site Manager or Lodging Manager in support of any aspect of the mission.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of experience in executing DOD or comparable lodging operations.
- Experience in hospitality and services management industry.
- Knowledge of aseptic cleaning procedures.
- Knowledgeable of CQMAPs software.
- Expert knowledge and ability to perform duties through utilization of multiple software applications inclusive of but not limited to CQ Maps, Microsoft products, and other software.
- Must maintain access to workload data and sensitive information from 386 LAN.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with Government Lodging Software.
- Data management inclusive of data accuracy, security, and accessibility.
- Customer service and conflict de-escalation using active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with multiple software applications.
- Physical capability to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Ability to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
Additional Information
- Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
- Valid U.S. Passport preferred.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Kuwait.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
