Lifeguard at InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa, operated by IHG Hotels and Resorts, located in Doha.

Role Purpose
Oversee the safety and well-being of guests at the pool and beach areas by enforcing all safety regulations, responding quickly and effectively to aquatic emergencies, and maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned areas to uphold high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Emergency Response
- Oversee safety and well-being of guests at pool and beach areas
- Enforce all safety regulations
- Respond quickly and effectively to all aquatic emergencies
Facility Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas to uphold high standards of quality and guest satisfaction
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort environment
- Current lifeguard certification
- Up-to-date knowledge of CPR and first aid
Skills & Competencies
- Strong swimming skills and ability to swim long distances if needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to notice and respond to details that make a difference to guests
- Commitment to finding ways to improve
