Role Overview
Lead Site Mechanic - C12 with Amentum. This position is contingent upon award.
Role Purpose
Lead the effort for operating and maintaining the aircraft, aircraft subsystems, and support equipment under a Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) system.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance & Operations
- Oversee all aircraft maintenance and personnel.
- Direct launch and recovery of the aircraft.
- Lead maintenance and repair of all support equipment.
- Manage aircraft paint operations.
- Coordinate engine repair and overhaul.
Supply & Inventory
- Supply all Contractor owned spares and support equipment through the Contractor Owned and Maintained Parts (COMP) program.
- Coordinate repair and overhaul of all repairable spares at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certified repair stations.
Personnel & Liaison
- Direct the work force in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.
- Perform duties as the on-site liaison with the Government.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5 or more years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- 3 or more years maintaining King Air/1900 Airliner series aircraft to include complex aircraft modifications.
- 1 or more year as a site lead under a similar type effort.
- Current FAA A&P license.
- High School Diploma or GED minimally required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Department of Defense Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrated ability to direct a work force in the performance of aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification.
- Capable of performing duties as the on-site liaison with the Government.
Additional Information
- Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 plus housing allowance and hardship pay (if space allows).
