Role Overview
Lead Project Engineer at Sucafina. This role leads end-to-end project engineering for complex programs, ensuring technical delivery, schedule adherence, risk management, and cross-functional alignment from planning through commissioning.
Role Purpose
Own technical scope and engineering deliverables while coordinating stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring quality to deliver projects on-time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Deliver projects on-time and within budget.
- Own technical scope and engineering deliverables.
- Ensure quality via reviews, testing, and commissioning.
Risk Management
- Reduce project risks through proactive mitigation.
- Conduct risk management and mitigation planning.
- Execute risk-aware planning and execution.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate stakeholders to unblock engineering execution.
- Lead cross-functional teams and communication.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and negotiation.
Technical Execution
- Manage requirements, design review, and technical documentation.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and quality assurance.
- Execute systems integration activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years engineering project leadership experience.
- Proven delivery of complex projects from design to commissioning.
- Strong understanding of engineering standards and processes.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Skills & Competencies
- Project engineering and systems integration.
- Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, AutoCAD/Revit (as applicable).
- Cross-functional leadership and communication.
- Problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ownership and accountability.
