Role Overview
Lead Product Designer at Jeeny, a ride-hailing platform operating in Saudi Arabia and Jordan. This role is based at Jeeny's offices in the region.

The company is a joint venture between MEIG (Middle East Internet Group), Rocket Internet, and IMENA. Since inception, Jeeny has grown exponentially and currently operates in Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Role Purpose
Lead a team of product designers and elevate UX research capabilities at Jeeny. The role combines hands-on design leadership, team development, and strategic direction-setting to deliver exceptional user experiences across the platform.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead a team of Product Designers or Associate Product Designers and contribute towards their personal development.
- Review the work done by the team on a regular basis.
User Research & Strategy
- Manage and guide constant user experience research and user testing.
- Produce and review comprehensive discoveries from user research on a regular basis.
- Build short-term and long-term design strategy.
Design Operations & Execution
- Prioritize design backlogs and manage design sprints.
- Track, report and achieve relevant metrics and KPIs on a regular basis.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Represent the design team on multiple forums and conduct thought workshops.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in Product for user-facing mobile and web applications.
- Experience of working for tech companies in transportation, deliveries and eCommerce space preferred.
- Experience of working in the Middle East, especially KSA and Jordan, preferred.
- Native Arabic speaker preferred.
