The company carries out full EPC&M services for electrical and instrumentation works and brings localized expertise to measure and automate exploration, production, separation, refining processes, and distribution.

Role Purpose

Act as the Lead Static Equipment Technical Authority on Oil & Gas projects, ensuring all pressure vessels, static equipment, and associated mechanical packages meet ADNOC and international design codes, offshore installation feasibility, mechanical integrity, and safety standards throughout engineering, fabrication, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

Static Equipment Technical Authority

• Serve as Lead Static Equipment Authority for pressure vessel design, mechanical integrity, and offshore installation feasibility.
• Enforce compliance with ADNOC CoPs, ASME Section VIII, API 510/650/620 (as applicable), and ISO pressure equipment standards.
• Provide final technical approval on static equipment design packages.

Vendor & Package Engineering Oversight

• Review and approve vendor datasheets, General Arrangement drawings, design calculations, and Weight & Center of Gravity data.
• Validate design pressure and temperature, corrosion allowance, materials of construction, and nozzle orientation and loads.
• Ensure OEM compliance with ADNOC pressure equipment regulations and offshore transport and lifting constraints.

Brownfield Equipment Integration & Offshore Feasibility

• Lead static engineering for deck load integration, space constraints, and maintenance access and removal envelopes.
• Review laser scan data, as-built drawings, and brownfield modification method statements.
• Support hot work planning and SIMOPS integration.

Mechanical Integrity, Fitness-for-Service & RBI

• Support mechanical integrity reviews, fitness-for-service assessments, and remaining life evaluation as required.
• Interface with ADNOC inspection teams for RBI classification, inspection planning, and hydrotest exemption cases if applicable.

Safety Studies Support

• Provide static equipment input on overpressure protection, PSV sizing and discharge routing, vessel isolation philosophy, and maintenance and access hazards.
• Ensure safety actions are reflected in P&IDs, layout drawings, and vendor data.

Lifting, Transportation & Offshore Installation Engineering

• Review lifting plans, rigging studies, padeye locations, structural interfaces, and transportation load cases.
• Ensure vessel stability during lifting and verify offshore lifting safety factors are met and comply with ADNOC offshore lifting standards.

Construction & Commissioning Support

• Provide OE support during equipment installation, alignment and leveling checks, hydrotesting and reinstatement, and pre-commissioning walkdowns.
• Verify readiness for Mechanical Completion and Ready for Startup.

Documentation, Registers & ADNOC Compliance

• Maintain discipline registers including static equipment list, datasheet register, and deviation and TQ logs.
• Review and approve fabrication drawings, hydrotest packs, and final as-built documentation.
• Ensure ADNOC document numbering system compliance and weekly discipline progress reporting.

ADNOC-Specific Offshore Safety Responsibilities

• Enforce ADNOC PTW requirements, offshore SIMOPS safety, and dropped object prevention.
• Validate equipment guarding, access platforms, and emergency escape compatibility.

Interface & Coordination

• Closely coordinate with EPC Mechanical & Piping Teams, Structural Engineering, Electrical & I&C Disciplines, Compressor & Dryer OEMs, and ADNOC PMT, Operations & Inspection Teams.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update all static equipment discipline registers, including Static Equipment List, Datasheet Register, Vendor Drawing Register, and TQ & Deviation Log.
• Review, verify, and approve all static equipment deliverables such as datasheets, GA and Fabrication Drawings, Design Calculations, Inspection & Test Records, and Hydrotest & Pre-commissioning Documents.
• Ensure strict compliance with ADNOC Document Numbering System, ADNOC Document Control Procedures, and Project Master Document Register.
• Prepare and submit weekly Static Engineering Progress Reports and monthly Discipline Status Reports.
• Verify and approve as-built static documentation and support the preparation of Mechanical Completion, Ready for Commissioning, and Ready for Start-Up dossiers.
• Support ADNOC audits, reviews, and close-out of static-related actions and deviations.

Key Deliverables

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• ADNOC Offshore approval or eligibility.
• Certification or Training in pressure vessel design or inspection is an advantage.
• Minimum 16+ years of Oil & Gas EPC experience in Static Equipment engineering.
• Minimum 7–10 years' experience on ADNOC Offshore or offshore projects.
• Brownfield Platform Projects experience is mandatory.

Additional Information

The Static Equipment Discipline Scope includes Instrument Air Receivers, Plant Air Receivers, Air Dryer Vessels (Heatless/Heated), Filters, Separators, Knock-Out Drums, Pressure Vessels related to packages, and associated static skids and mechanical packages.
