Lead Massage Therapist – Spa Operations at Wynn Al Marjan Island, located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Company Overview

Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, set to open in 2027, located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, a beach club, multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

Role Purpose

Lead the delivery of professional massage and body treatments within the spa, supervise massage therapy staff, maintain Forbes Five Star standards, and support the development and continuous improvement of spa wellness offerings and guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services & Treatment Delivery

• Provide a variety of professional massage and body treatments tailored to guests' needs and preferences.
• Ensure a personalized, therapeutic, and discreet experience for each guest.
• Maintain expert knowledge of massage techniques, anatomy, and wellness practices.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise and support massage therapists, ensuring consistent service quality and adherence to spa protocols.
• Conduct training sessions on techniques, guest service standards, and product knowledge.
• Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of massage therapy staff.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for services.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies used in massage therapy.
• Uphold hygiene, safety, and regulatory standards in all areas of operation.
• Ensure qualitative Forbes Five Star standards are met.

Strategy & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with spa management to develop new treatment offerings and wellness programs.
• Support spa promotions and special events through service excellence and team coordination.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement in guest experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Certified and licensed massage therapist with advanced training in various modalities (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Aromatherapy).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a luxury spa or wellness environment.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and guest service orientation.
