Role Overview

Lead Commissioning Engineer - Telecom for a Subsea Cable & Piping project on an Offshore Well Head Tower/Platform, based with KBR in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose

Lead the commissioning of telecom systems and subsea cable and piping infrastructure for an offshore well head tower/platform project, progressing from office-based planning through fabrication yard activities to offshore execution.

Key Responsibilities

Commissioning & Execution

• Lead commissioning activities for telecom systems within the subsea cable and piping scope.
• Oversee execution across office, fabrication yard, and offshore site phases.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 20+ years of overall experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Minimum 5+ years of previous experience in ADNOC Projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position on mega oil and gas FEED/EPC projects exceeding US$1 Billion in value.
• Experience working on Well Head Tower and Subsea Cable & Piping within Brownfield Modification projects is an added advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Additional Information

• Position based initially in Abu Dhabi in Client office or Contractor's office.
• Later transition to Fabrication Yard and then to Offshore Site.
• Work pattern: 6 weeks/3 weeks rotation as per client requirement.
