Role Purpose
Process and maintain guest and staff laundry and dry-cleaning items to the highest quality standards while operating equipment safely and ensuring accurate handling and presentation of all garments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Equipment
- Operate laundry and dry-cleaning equipment safely, including washers, dryers, press machines, and steamers.
- Process guest and staff laundry and dry-cleaning items according to established procedures and quality standards.
Quality & Garment Care
- Inspect garments for stains, damages, and special care needs before cleaning.
- Treat stains appropriately using correct chemicals and techniques.
- Finish garments by pressing, steaming, folding, or hanging to ensure high-quality presentation.
Organization & Accuracy
- Handle and label all items accurately to prevent mix-ups.
- Report any lost-and-found items according to procedures.
Maintenance & Compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Report any equipment issues promptly.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, departmental policies, and Four Seasons standards at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience.
- Preferred experience in a luxury hotel in dry cleaning.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Excellent communication skills and experience in guest interaction.
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Must have full flexibility in schedule.
- Able to work on weekends, holidays, and daytime.
