Laundry Driver / Helper

Role Overview

Laundry Driver / Helper for Radisson Hotel Group. This role delivers laundry services to support hotel operations, combining vehicle operation with manual handling and basic maintenance responsibilities.

Role Purpose

To ensure safe, timely, and professional collection and delivery of clean and dirty laundry between the hotel and laundry facility while maintaining vehicle standards and supporting laundry operations through hands-on assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Delivery

• Load clean linens onto the truck and deliver them to the hotel according to schedule.
• Load dirty linens from the hotel onto the laundry truck and deliver them to the laundry according to schedule.
• Ensure all laundry is transported safely and securely.
• Maintain responsibility for safe and timely collection and delivery of laundry.
• Check delivery documents and obtain signatures when required.

Laundry Handling & Support

• Assist with loading and unloading linen, uniforms, towels, and laundry bags.
• Help in the towel folding area by folding towels, bath robes, and loading caddies.
• Properly count, sort, and handle laundry items during collection and delivery.
• Follow hotel and company procedures for handling clean and dirty linen.

Vehicle Maintenance & Records

• Maintain a logbook recording the number of trips, kilometers, and gas consumption.
• Clean the laundry truck inside daily and outside weekly.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of the company vehicle.
• Take care of any maintenance issues and servicing, reporting to Assistant Laundry Manager.

Compliance & Standards

• Respect law and order regarding driving, speeding, and parking of the laundry truck.
• Respect company standards and departmental rules.
• Report missing, damaged, or stained items to the supervisor.
• Meet Yes I Can! Attitude expectations.
• Uphold Responsible Business Ethics standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a laundry driver, helper, or similar role is preferred.
• Valid driving license with a clean driving record.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and locations.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift and carry laundry bags.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, honest, and professional appearance.
