Landscape/Architect Inspector

Role Overview

Landscape/Architect Inspector at HanmiGlobal Saudi. The role involves overseeing and inspecting landscape and architectural construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Role Purpose

Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards through close coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to support successful project delivery and adherence to design intent.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Compliance

• Inspect landscape and architectural works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor site activities and verify that construction methods and materials meet quality standards.
• Review and witness testing, installations, and inspections related to landscape and architectural components.
• Verify contractor progress and ensure works are executed according to approved schedules.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements on-site.

Documentation & Reporting

• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action recommendations.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, observations, and project documentation.

Technical Review & Coordination

• Review shop drawings, material submittals, samples, and method statements related to landscape and architectural works.
• Coordinate with project engineers, designers, contractors, and consultants to resolve technical issues.

Project Closeout

• Support project closeout activities, snagging inspections, and final acceptance processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction supervision, inspection, or quality control of landscape and architectural works.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, urban development, commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian building codes, regulations, and authority requirements is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, installation practices, and quality assurance procedures.
• Ability to interpret architectural, landscape, and construction drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction documentation systems.
• Excellent report-writing, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.

Additional Information

• Professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering or architectural organizations are an advantage.
