Role Overview
Landscape Architect at HanmiGlobal Saudi. The role supports the design and delivery of landscape projects through design development, technical reviews, and site coordination. Reports directly to the Senior Landscape Architect.
Role Purpose
Balance creative design capability and technical oversight to ensure project deliverables meet required quality, timelines, and Client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Development & Review
- Contribute to concept design development and assist in refining design solutions.
- Review and assess design submissions and shop drawings prepared by contractors for compliance with project requirements and design intent.
- Prepare and adjust landscape designs based on project needs, site conditions, and Client feedback.
- Ensure all design deliverables align with approved plans, specifications, and standards.
- Ability to review technical drawings and provide design solutions.
Site Coordination & Monitoring
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, provide site instructions, and verify that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings.
- Approve completed works at site in coordination with the Senior Landscape Architect and project team.
- Manage and follow up on deliverables from the contractor's technical team to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and visual materials for Client meetings.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support the Senior Landscape Architect in overall project design management and coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field plus 7 years' experience, or Master's degree plus 5 years' experience.
- Proven experience in landscape design and project coordination.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Lumion, and/or SketchUp.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to Clients.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate effectively with contractor teams.
