Role Overview

Land Surveyor at Al Shirawi Group.

Role Purpose

Monitor and control surveying operations for underground construction projects, ensuring all alignments, installations, and as-built records meet Dubai and UAE technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

Tunnel & Alignment Control

• Monitor tunnel boring machine (TBM) alignments continuously to ensure breakthrough coordinates remain within strict construction tolerances.

Survey Operations

• Operate advanced surveying equipment including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, and laser levels for underground control networks.

Data & Documentation

• Process surveying data and draft detailed reports, field books, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure all setting-out and pipeline installations meet exact technical standards required by Dubai and UAE authorities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of surveying experience with heavy focus on microtunneling works.
