AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Land Surveyor (Site Operations) based in the United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose
To conduct precise land surveys, establish control points and boundaries for construction works, and provide accurate measurement data and analysis that ensures compliance with project specifications and supports efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Surveying and Data Collection
- Conduct land surveys, including boundary surveys, topographical surveys, and construction staking.
- Provide precise measurements, data, and analysis to ensure compliance with project specifications.
Setting Out
- Perform setting out and marking of control points and boundaries for construction works as per design documents.
Equipment Management
- Monitor and adjust survey equipment as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure that all instruments are calibrated and maintained to meet project standards.
Site Operations Support
- Collaborate with site engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure efficient site operations and accurate reporting of survey results.
Reporting
- Prepare and maintain clear, concise survey reports, including measurement calculations and layout plans.
- Submit reports for review and approval by senior management and project teams.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all surveying work adheres to relevant industry standards, local regulations, and AtkinsRéalis quality assurance procedures.
Problem-Solving
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies related to surveys, land measurements, or site conditions.
- Propose practical solutions in consultation with senior staff.
Health and Safety
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment on site.
- Comply with AtkinsRéalis and local regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Communication
- Communicate effectively with all site personnel, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ensure a smooth flow of information between team members.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in land surveying, particularly within cycle track projects in the UAE.
- Experience with modern surveying tools, including Total Stations, GPS, and 3D scanning equipment.
- Familiarity with UAE local land survey standards and regulations is highly advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical proficiency in surveying equipment and software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and LSS.
- Good knowledge of surveying techniques, data analysis, and topographical surveys.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal); knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
