Role Overview

Temenos Kony Infinity Developer at TAWANTECH. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing mobile applications using the Temenos Kony Infinity platform in a client-facing environment.

Role Purpose

To design, develop, and implement mobile applications on the Temenos Kony Infinity platform that meet client business requirements. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, deliver technical solutions, and ensure timely project delivery within budget and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and implement mobile applications using the Temenos Kony Infinity platform.
• Contribute to native and cross-functional mobile app development and management of new products and services using the KONY platform.
• Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document, and deploy applications in a fast-paced client environment.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for all projects.

Client Collaboration

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with various technical stakeholders within customer teams to support solution development, scoping, requirements elaboration, development estimations, and customer guidance.
• Participate in and lead technical discussions with customer project teams and vendors where applicable.
• Handle technical queries on the Infinity tools and technologies.
• Excellent client handling and negotiation skills.

Technical Analysis & Architecture

• Analyze digital business requirements and determine system architecture and integration approaches.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure, systems, and web services.
• Manage end-to-end performance optimization of the applications developed on the Infinity platform.

Quality & Best Practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that may arise during the development process.
• Suggest coding best practices and share best practices documentation with the customer.
• Ensure the timely delivery of projects within budget and according to client specifications.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in mobile application development and incorporate them into projects.
• Be a self-starter and work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with other Temenos Infinity team members, including product teams, regarding requests received from customers.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of development experience with native and cross-platform mobile applications using KONY Platform minimum version 7.x and later.
• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in design, development, and unit testing of product and services-based mobile apps using KONY Platform, KONY Visualizer, KONY Fabric, KONY Sync, and KONY Messaging Service.
• In-depth knowledge of NFI/FFI, interactive application development, memory management, and offline sync process.
• Experience working with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Certification in KONY is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies

Temenos Kony Platform

• Excellent understanding of Infinity Quantum Visualizer, Infinity Digital Banking, Mobile Fabric, Spotlight, Infinity Assist, and Origination.
• Solid exposure to KONY Visualizer, KONY Fabric, KONY Sync, KONY Messaging Service.
• Experience with Quantum Fabric.
• Ability to work on DBX/Infinity.

Programming Languages & Markup

• Expert in JavaScript with ability to write, manipulate, and customize JavaScript code.
• Solid knowledge of Core Java.
• Excellent in JSON and XML.
• Excellent in HTML5, CSS, and CSS3.
• Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery.

Web Technologies & Frameworks

• Experience in web technologies and frameworks including J2EE, MVC, web services (RESTful and SOAP), and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience with React.js.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Experience with unit testing frameworks for mobile such as Cucumber.

DevOps & Version Control

• Experience with Git/GitHub.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Jenkins.

Infrastructure & Platforms

• Experience with Linux.
• Experience with Keycloak.

Interpersonal Skills

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
