Role Purpose

To provide exceptional child-tending services while supporting the Entertainment & Recreation Manager, earning the trust of parents through passionate, patient, and developmentally-informed childcare and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Child Supervision & Safety

• Provide a sincere and loving attitude towards children, showing patience and concern for their wellbeing.
• Handle any situation calmly and sensibly.
• Keep the play area safe and free from hazards while monitoring children consistently throughout the day.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to difficult or emergency situations.

Maintenance & Hygiene

• Clean play equipment, games, and toys on a regular basis to keep them safe and attractive.

Record Keeping & Parent Communication

• Keep individual records for each child that include information about behaviors, daily activities, meals eaten, medications received, and other important details.
• Discuss child information with each child's parents on a daily basis.
• Complete administrative duties, including signing children in and out and recording their details and any special needs.

Programming & Activities

• Create daily lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate, fun, and interesting.
• Ensure lesson plans always encourage full participation by each child.
• Participate in learning activities with the children, including reading, art and crafts, music, and singing.

Compliance

• Comply with and uphold all health, safety, and security regulations and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience as a Kids Club Attendant.
• Good command of English.
• Any other language is an added advantage.
