Kids Club Attendant

Role Overview

Kids Club Attendant at Marriott. This role contributes to the youth program's mission of providing fun, educational and caring services to the children of members and guests in a warm and welcoming environment.

Role Purpose

Deliver engaging, safe youth programming and activities while building positive relationships with children and parents. Maintain clean, well-organized facilities and ensure compliance with all safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Youth Programming & Activities

• Lead everyday activities including arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and singing.
• Build rapport with and take genuine interest in all children and parents utilizing the club's child activity services.
• Promote the club's youth programs and activities to members and guests.
• Assist parents in program registration.

Facility & Equipment Management

• Keep facilities and equipment clean, neat, and well maintained.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds.
• Reach, bend, twist, pull, and stoop as needed.

Safety & Compliance

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications as required.
• Comply with any certification or training required by local and state agencies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.

Guest & Family Services

• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Professional Standards

• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Protect company assets.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (preferred).

Related Work Experience

• No related work experience required.

Supervisory Experience

• No supervisory experience required.

Skills & Competencies

Certifications & Licenses

• CPR Certification (required).
• First Aid Certification (required).
• Recreation Equipment certification (required).
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies (required).
