Role Overview
Key Account Manager for UAE and Kuwait at Abbott, based in Dubai. This position is within Abbott Rapid Diagnostics – Infectious Diseases division.

Role Purpose
Manage strategic healthcare accounts and business partnerships with focus on revenue generation, driving market penetration, commercial growth, and customer engagement across Abbott Rapid Diagnostics' portfolio within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Commercial Objectives
- Own full accountability for revenue generation and commercial objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospect to execution.
- Develop customer-centric solutions, including integrated workflow offerings and value-based diagnostic approaches.
- Prove ability to meet and exceed revenue quotas.
Account & Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term partnerships with key stakeholders across hospitals, laboratories, governmental entities, procurement departments, and healthcare networks.
- Collaborate closely with clinicians, laboratory leadership, emergency departments, infection control teams, and healthcare decision-makers to improve patient pathways and diagnostic workflows.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Utilize business intelligence tools and sales analytics to identify opportunities, optimize account performance, and strengthen strategic planning.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of diagnostic sales experience within the UAE market.
- Kuwait market experience is an advantage.
- Pharma and diagnostic mixed experience is valued.
- Experience in Point-of-Care Testing, Infectious Diseases, or Laboratory Solutions is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems, patient pathways, reimbursement environments, and tender processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Consultative selling ability with capacity to influence key healthcare stakeholders.
