Role Overview
Key Account Manager - Fleet Solutions at Emarat (Emirates General Petroleum), managing government and industrial fuel sales.
Role Purpose
To attract, manage and develop Emarat's Government & Industrial Fuel Sale Section in delivering prompt and efficient services to Emarat's Government and Industrial customers with the objective of optimizing sales and revenue in line with Emarat's strategic priorities and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Market and promote Emarat's fuel products which meet UAE approved standards to existing and potential customers.
- Explore new business opportunities, sign up new clients, prepare agreements and sales reports within level of authority.
- Develop progressive relationships with existing and potential customers to identify sales opportunities and product requirements.
Strategic Planning & Analysis
- Assist in developing strategies to effectively achieve and retain market leadership position.
- Conduct secondary marketing research and monitor competitor activities, prices and discounts to evaluate Emarat's competitiveness in the market.
- Prepare reports on market analysis and submit to Line Manager accordingly.
- Provide reports and analysis to support the Line Manager in day-to-day business operations.
Account & Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key Government and Commercial Accounts required to meet Emarat's business and operational objectives.
- Resolve customer special requirements and problems related to products and services in order to maintain custom and loyalty to Emarat.
- Represent Emarat with respect to external stakeholders in areas of operational importance.
- Work effectively, proactively and with urgency across Emarat and externally to ensure the delivery of joint services and results that meet Emarat's interests and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Operations & Administration
- Conduct site visits for physical verification of equipment and update the Assets Register (Free Loan Assets) in Oracle.
- Monitor receivables and ensure they stay within agreed terms and conditions; escalate issues to Line Manager when necessary.
- Review invoices prior to submission to key customers to mitigate errors and customer dissatisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years' experience within Sales.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Distribution Industry preferred.
- Knowledge of technical aspects of fuel products and equipment, including storage, product origins and contamination.
Skills & Competencies
- Goal oriented.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- IT literate.
