Kaizen Operations Drilling Support (MWD/LWD, Directional Drilling)

Role Overview

Kaizen Operations Drilling Support (MWD/LWD, Directional Drilling) at NOV. This predominantly field-based role supports digital drilling applications through internal and customer-facing product training and support.

Role Purpose

Ensure Kaizen digital application success via rig- and office-based product support and training. Deploy and support NOV's new digital drilling products while engaging with customer-side Drilling Engineers prior to and during deployments, and support training, drilling advisory, and feedback during sustained adoption.

Key Responsibilities

Product Support & Deployment

• Provide frontline digital drilling solutions support and escalate issues when required based on well-defined processes.
• Deploy and support Kaizen digital drilling products across rig and office environments.
• Engage with customer-side Drilling Engineers prior to and during deployments.

Training & Advisory

• Support training delivery on digital drilling applications.
• Provide drilling advisory services during sustained adoption.
• Deliver internal and customer-facing product training.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Communicate with internal teams and customers daily.
• Work closely with Sales, Product Line, Field Engineering, Operations and Digital Commercialization groups internally.
• Provide specialized Kaizen knowledge for deployments and trials.

Operational Analysis

• Identify areas of concern based on available real-time drilling data.
• Monitor drilling practices and performance indicators.

General Duties

• Carry out other tasks that Management consider reasonable within the context of this role.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years' experience in MWD/LWD, directional drilling, drilling engineering or similar.
• Familiarity with drilling practices and ability to identify areas of concern based on available real-time drilling data.

Additional Information

• Predominantly field-based role.
