Emirates Health Services Establishment is seeking a Junior Medical Technician for Al-Amal Hospital Pharmacy Section.

Role Purpose

Support the pharmacy team at Al-Amal Hospital by assisting the pharmacist in medication management, patient care, and pharmacy operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a hospital setting while contributing to patient well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Medication Management

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and label medications as per the pharmacist's instructions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications, following hospital protocols.

Pharmacy Operations

• Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy work area.
• Assist in inventory management and reordering of pharmaceutical supplies.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth medication distribution.

Patient Records and Service

• Assist in managing and updating patient medication records.
• Provide customer service to patients and address their medication-related inquiries.

Compliance and Support

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Support the pharmacist in any other tasks as required, ensuring a smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
• Valid MOHAP evaluation letter and approved Dataflow.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy software and systems.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
