Role Overview

Junior HR Business Partner for IKEA Oman retail operations with Al Futtaim Group, a leading diversified regional enterprise operating across automotive, financial services, real estate, retail, and healthcare.

Role Purpose

Provide strategic HR support to senior management, driving organizational performance and talent development across the IKEA Oman business unit.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives in partnership with store leadership and the HR function
• Build succession plans and retention strategies for key talent positions

Talent Development & Culture

• Design and implement employee induction programs to accelerate onboarding and productivity
• Foster a performance-driven culture emphasizing meritocracy, diversity, and compliance with group HR policies
• Facilitate organizational change initiatives and learning and development programs to optimize workforce capabilities

Reporting & Monitoring

• Monitor HR plan progress and communicate outcomes to business units and the HR function

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 1–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a business partner or similar advisory capacity
• Strong understanding of retail operations and organizational dynamics
• Knowledge of UAE labor laws and group HR policies

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
