Role Overview
Inventyou is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Mendix Developer to join an enterprise digital transformation project in the UAE. This is a two-month fully onsite position. Applicants must currently be based in the UAE with a valid work permit.
Role Purpose
Design, build, test, and deploy secure and responsive web and mobile applications using the Mendix low-code platform. Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to deliver production-ready enterprise applications within an Agile development environment.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Develop and configure enterprise applications using Mendix Studio Pro.
- Build and maintain domain models, user interfaces, microflows, and nanoflows.
- Develop responsive web and mobile application functionality.
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve application issues.
Integration & Configuration
- Implement integrations using REST APIs, OData, and database connectors.
- Configure application security, including user roles, module roles, and entity-level access.
Performance & Deployment
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Support deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Collaborate with developers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven hands-on experience developing and delivering production-ready Mendix applications.
- Solid understanding of domain modeling, page design, microflows, and nanoflows.
- Experience with Mendix security configuration and access management.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
- Good understanding of application testing and debugging.
- Currently based in the UAE with a valid UAE work permit.

Additional Information
Nice to Have
- Mendix Rapid Developer or Intermediate Developer certification.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with OData integrations and database connectors.
- Experience working on enterprise digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and application deployment processes.
- Immediate or short-notice availability.
