Jr. Site Engineer (Civil & MEP)

Role Overview

Jr. Site Engineer (Civil & MEP) with Group AMANA, a regional leader in intelligent design & build construction. Position available across multiple locations in the Kingdom, including Dammam and Riyadh.

Role Purpose

Support the successful delivery of AMANA's fast-track Design & Build projects by supervising site execution activities, coordinating with project stakeholders, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and contributing to timely project completion across industrial facilities, warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial developments, and data centers.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Coordination

• Supervise and coordinate daily site activities within the assigned Civil or MEP discipline.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Support the execution of fast-track Design & Build projects, including industrial facilities, warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, and data centers.
• Review and interpret relevant architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and coordinated construction drawings.
• Coordinate with project management, design, procurement, planning, quality, and HSE teams to maintain efficient site workflow.

Quality & Inspection

• Conduct site inspections to verify that work meets engineering standards, project specifications, quality requirements, and client expectations.
• Ensure materials and equipment delivered to the site comply with approved technical submittals and project requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workforce productivity, material availability, and progress against the approved construction program.

Issue Resolution & Coordination

• Identify technical issues, drawing discrepancies, and site constraints.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to implement timely solutions.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines to resolve interface and installation issues.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, site records, inspection requests, RFIs, and other required project documentation.
• Participate in site meetings, progress reviews, inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities as applicable.

Health, Safety & Performance

• Ensure proper implementation of AMANA's health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Promote safe working practices across the site.
• Support timely completion of assigned activities while maintaining required standards of safety, quality, cost, and productivity.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction projects, preferably within Design Build environments.
• Experience in industrial facilities, warehouses, manufacturing plants, commercial buildings, logistics facilities, or data center projects is highly preferred.
• OSHA, IOSH, or similar certifications will be considered an added advantage.
• Must be Saudi Talent.
