Role Overview
Jr. Cost Control Engineer at Group AMANA.
Role Purpose
Support the cost control function by assisting in budget development, cost reporting, contractor payments, and financial verification to maintain project financial health and contractual compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Budget & Cost Reporting
- Assist in developing, preparing and reviewing the job budget.
- Assist in preparing and issuing the project's cost report.
- Provide feedback and updates of data required for the preparation of project reports.
Contractor Management
- Assist in the preparation of subcontractor's progress reports and payment certificate.
- Assist in preparing and checking project's variation orders and claims and their supporting documents.
Measurement & Verification
- Perform quantity take-offs based on contract's method of measurement with high speed and accuracy.
- Verify Purchase Requisition (PR) by checking the quantities against budgeted quantities to ensure that they are within the budget.
- Ensure that the ordered items comply with contract specifications.
Site Monitoring
- Perform site visits to prepare and update the progress report.
