Role Overview
Jr. Auditor position at Burjline Builders, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose
Assist in conducting financial audits and reviews to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations, while identifying potential financial risks and discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Audit Execution
- Assist in conducting financial audits and reviews, including examining financial statements, verifying financial transactions, and identifying discrepancies or irregularities.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of audit programs and procedures.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential financial risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
Stakeholder Communication & Implementation
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management.
- Assist in implementing changes or improvements based on audit results.
Collaboration & Professional Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments, changes in regulations, and best practices in auditing.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate environment.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
