Role Overview

Junior Accountant at Al Shirawi Group.

Role Purpose

Support the finance team's day-to-day operations by recording transactions, processing accounts, maintaining financial records, and assisting with month-end and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Recording

• Record daily transactions and journal entries in the accounting system.

Accounts Processing

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.

Month-End Operations

• Support the month-end close.

Compliance & Documentation

• Help prepare VAT documentation and support VAT compliance documentation.
• Maintain organised financial records and supporting documents.

Audit Support

• Assist with internal and external audit requests.

Skills & Competencies

• Detail-oriented approach to financial work.
