Role Purpose
Create detailed technical drawings and specifications for joinery elements in interior fit-out projects. Work closely with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure joinery components meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Drawing
- Create accurate and detailed technical drawings of joinery elements, including cabinets, doors, windows, and custom-made furniture.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Prepare shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
Design Coordination
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand overall design concepts and requirements.
- Propose joinery solutions that align with design vision and meet functional needs.
- Coordinate with other trades involved in the project to ensure seamless integration of joinery elements.
Material Selection
- Assist in selecting appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for joinery components.

Quantity Takeoffs & Estimating
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs for joinery materials and components.
- Provide cost estimates for joinery work based on quantity takeoffs and material pricing.
Site Visits
- Conduct site visits to verify measurements and review existing conditions.
- Address any issues related to joinery installation.
Project Management
- Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring joinery work is completed on time and within budget.
- Monitor the progress of joinery fabrication and installation.
- Resolve issues that may arise during fabrication and installation.
