Role Overview

Role Purpose

This highly visible role contributes to shaping the strategic direction of a global healthcare business. The successful candidate will work closely with the International Health Senior Leadership Team, executives across the portfolio businesses, The Cigna Group's Enterprise Strategy team, and selected external partners and advisers to support strategic planning, strategy development, business partnership, and high-impact strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Analysis

• Lead high-priority strategic projects that support International Health's growth, performance, and long-term objectives.
• Conduct market, competitor, customer, and industry analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
• Support portfolio strategy development and key planning processes, including annual strategy and business planning.

Strategic Development and Insights

• Develop insights, recommendations, and executive-level presentations that support strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate growth opportunities, including strategic partnerships, market expansion, organic initiatives, and inorganic activity.
• Structure ambiguous business challenges, synthesize complex information, and translate analysis into actionable recommendations.

Stakeholder Partnership and Execution

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the International Health portfolio to evaluate opportunities, refine strategic priorities, and support execution.
• Influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders through clear, compelling communication.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, corporate development, business transformation, or a related strategic discipline.
• Experience assessing markets, competitors, customers, and growth opportunities.
• Track record of leading strategic projects from initial analysis through recommendation and implementation.
• Strong financial analysis skills combined with commercial acumen and the ability to develop robust business cases and evaluate performance.
