Job Description: Private Nurse / Maternity Nurse

Role Overview

Private Nurse / Maternity Nurse position with White Spot Facilities Management for a UHNW private family in Dubai, UAE. Full-time role based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

Provide professional, attentive and discreet care to ensure the newborn's health, comfort, safety and well-being while supporting the mother during the postnatal period.

Key Responsibilities

Newborn Care

• Provide attentive care for the newborn, ensuring comfort, hygiene and safety.
• Monitor feeding, sleeping patterns and general well-being.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow appropriate infant-safety practices.

Feeding Support

• Support breastfeeding, bottle feeding and appropriate feeding routines.
• Maintain proper sterilisation and hygiene of feeding equipment and baby-care essentials.

Postnatal Support

• Support the mother with postnatal care and newborn-care guidance within professional qualifications.

Health Monitoring & Coordination

• Recognise signs of illness or distress and coordinate with healthcare professionals when required.

Household Collaboration

• Work collaboratively with the family and household staff while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognised nursing qualification and relevant professional registration or licence, as applicable.
• Proven experience in newborn care, maternity nursing or postnatal care.
• Experience caring for newborns from birth onwards.
• Midwifery qualifications and experience are highly desirable.
• Valid infant CPR and first-aid certification preferred.
• Previous private household or UHNW family experience is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of infant feeding, hygiene and safe-sleep practices.
• Professional, compassionate, discreet and trustworthy demeanour.
• Sound judgement and ability to provide personalised care in a private household setting.
