IT Infrastructure Specialist

Role Overview

IT Infrastructure Specialist at PanzerGlass, Dubai office. You will maintain and develop IT infrastructure and provide local IT support, reporting to the Vice President of IT & Corporate Projects.

Role Purpose

To maintain a stable, secure and well-performing IT infrastructure while providing IT support to colleagues at the Dubai office and building a strategic roadmap for infrastructure development across security and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Support & Operations

• Provide IT support to colleagues at the Dubai office
• Manage and maintain servers
• Handle backup solutions
• Support and administer the Microsoft 365 suite
• Support and administer Microsoft Azure

Infrastructure & Planning

• Maintain and develop IT security
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure
• Build a clear overview of the current infrastructure setup and answer infrastructure-related requests
• Create a road map for infrastructure development, covering both security and performance

Stakeholder Management

• Cooperate with infrastructure suppliers and other partners

Qualifications & Experience

• Technical IT-related education
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar position responsible for an infrastructure setup

Skills & Competencies

• Technical IT background with ownership mentality across day-to-day support and longer-term planning
• Ability to make decisions within main responsibility areas and manage roadmaps
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business
• Structured and proactive approach to work
