Role Purpose

Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure across a global enterprise environment, ensuring stability, security, and optimal performance of servers, storage, and related systems while supporting operational continuity and user enablement.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

• Manage Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policies.
• Configure, setup, maintain and troubleshoot servers and services with automation of redundant processes.
• Recommend and implement modifications to the server environment, including troubleshooting and replacement of faulty system hardware.
• Implement and deploy infrastructure to support a global environment.
• Perform routine server updates, patching and software deployments.

Capacity Planning & Disaster Recovery

• Participate in infrastructure and capacity planning.
• Participate in the planning, designing and testing of disaster recovery procedures.
• Design, implement and support Snapshot and replication technologies for disaster recovery.

Performance & Security

• Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all server environments.
• Application and operating system tuning, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Implement and maintain security solutions, including data safeguards, anti-virus and remedy processes.

Operations & Support

• Address operational systems issues including file and share permissions, user accounts and installing applications.
• Provide solutions and work closely with helpdesk support staff to support day-to-day activities.
• Provide application level support for all e-Discovery applications (Relativity, Cloudnine Law).

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years systems administration experience in multi-platform environments (Windows/Linux).
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Experience supporting and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server 2017, 2019 and 2022.
• Concrete understanding of Windows operating concepts (files, file systems, active directory, replication, processes, service and log management, users, Terminal services, permissions, I/O, devices).
• Experience with virtualization technology such as VMware and Hyper-V running in a production environment.
• Experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft Clustering.
• Experience implementing highly available solutions.
• Experience configuring and supporting DAS, NAS and SAN infrastructures in a corporate environment.
• Experience with direct and network attached storage devices (Dell PowerVault).
• Working knowledge of storage protocols including iSCSI, Fiber Channel, CIFS, SMB and NFS.
• Experience with deployment of physical servers, storage devices and network devices.
• BA/BS in computer science or equivalent education desired; hands-on and real-world experience will be considered.
• Relativity knowledge a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Thorough knowledge of SNMP, DNS, DHCP, SSL certificate and HTTP protocol.
• Remote Desktop Connection (client and Terminal Server environment).
• Knowledge of network architectures, protocols and security fundamentals.
• Highly motivated and competent with decision-making ability to work without close supervision.
• Fluent in the English language.
