Role Overview

IST Debit Card Developer for Qatar with VAM Systems. The role is based in Qatar, where selected candidates will be deputed to one of the leading banks in the country.

Role Purpose

Develop, design, and maintain debit card applications using IST SWITCH technology and related payment systems infrastructure for banking operations.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Integration

• Develop debit card applications across the full project life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, integration and testing.
• Build applications for ATM and POS environments.
• Work with IST SWITCH, SDK Environment and related payment technologies.

Technical Compliance & Operations

• Ensure adherence to EMV/Chip Card standards and visa compliance mandates.
• Manage settlement processes and merchant settlement procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of POS HYPERCOM/APACS terminals message specification.
• Support life cycle management of POS transactions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electronics and Communication Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in project life cycle (Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Integration and Testing).
• 5+ years of experience developing debit card applications.

• Strong knowledge of IST SWITCH.
• Strong knowledge of SDK Environment.
• Strong knowledge of ATM/POS Applications.
• Strong knowledge of EMV/Chip Cards and settlement processes.
• Strong knowledge of visa compliance and mandates.
• Good knowledge of POS HYPERCOM/APACS terminals message specification.
• Good knowledge of merchant settlement process.
