Islamic Teacher at International Schools Partnership. The role is based at a school within the ISP network.

Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality, creative and engaging Islamic teaching that inspires, motivates and equips every child to make as much progress as possible. To maintain the highest standards of teaching and learning, personalised to meet individual needs, while contributing to a positive, respectful and inclusive school community.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons, ensuring that children are actively learning throughout each lesson.
- Ensure teaching and learning are of the highest standard and personalised to specifically meet individual needs.
- Ensure the school meets its challenging targets for progress and attainment.
- Lead learning so that lessons are engaging and relevant, enabling every child to make as much progress as possible.
- Ensure the curriculum is inclusive and learner led, taking into account the cultural heritage of the school community and the local region.
Safeguarding & Pastoral Care
- Ensure children are safe and well cared for at all times.
- Consistently identify potential safeguarding and health and safety issues and act and follow up on all concerns appropriately.
Community & Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Communicate with families about learning and other issues related to school.
- Actively engage with the school community through newsletters, informal dialogue, reporting, supporting school functions and contributing to community and marketing activities.
- Promote the school to the local community to increase pupil numbers and reach pupil numbers targets.
- Develop positive working relationships with all members of the school community.
Professional Responsibilities
- Comply with agreed school policies and Aquila Ways.
- Actively participate in the performance management process of self and others.
- Ensure effective communication and direct the work of others, as appropriate.
- Lead CAS activities, participating and leading staff training and contributing to the establishment and development of the school community.
- Maintain a positive and respectful school ethos.
- Be involved in improving learning across the school as lead learners and subject leaders as the school grows.
- Carry out any tasks required by the school or the regional office to facilitate the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

- Credible teacher with a range of teaching experience.

Additional Information
Hours of Work
- 7:25 am to 4:15 pm Monday to Thursday.
- 7:25 am to 12:00 noon on Fridays.
- Occasional evening and weekend work required.
Holidays
- As per the school KHDA approved calendar plus five days during the school holiday.
Line Management
- Reporting to the Assistant Head Teacher or Head of Secondary.
Vetting & Safeguarding
- All post holders are subject to appropriate vetting procedures, including an online due diligence search, references and satisfactory Criminal Background Checks or equivalent covering the previous ten years' employment history.
