Role Overview

Islamic Finance Executive, Personal Finance at ADIB, located in Abu Dhabi or Al Ain, UAE. This is an outsourced role.

Role Purpose

To source Al Khair and Tadawul personal finance products to the specified target segment and achieve or exceed assigned sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

• Source Al Khair and Tadawul products to the specified target segment and achieve or exceed the assigned target.
• Visit institutions and governmental departments to meet potential customers and finalize business deals within the targeted turnaround time based on ADIB policy and procedure.
• Initiate cross-sell of other banking products on best efforts basis.
• Maintain good relationships with all institutions and governmental departments.

Product Knowledge & Service Delivery

• Maintain full awareness of product knowledge and implement it at all times.
• Deliver timely and prompt service to customers.
• Ensure all deals submitted are error-free and fix or rectify errors as needed.

Application & Documentation

• Prepare and review Standard Credit Applications and ensure all information provided is accurate and authentic.
• Verify the authenticity of critical documents (Bank Statement, Passport copy, Salary certificate, etc.) prior to sending to DSPU for processing.
• Execute Murabaha contracts with customers representing ADIB.
• Prepare files according to the checklist and forward files for disbursement through coordinators within 24 hours of completing signing formalities with customer.

Process Management

• Follow the approval process and escalate delays to RSS if any.
• Check file activation and notify RSS in case of delay at RFO end.
• Maintain a good rapport with interdepartment colleagues and peers by ensuring a smooth flow of business.

Compliance & Customer Relations

• Adhere to stipulated office timing, follow secrecy norms strictly, and maintain data confidentiality.
• Escalate customer complaints to supervisor level if any.
• Participate in activities assigned by your line manager during promotions.

Skills & Competencies

• Broad knowledge of ADIB's Retail Banking products and services.
• Fair knowledge of service standards and sales skills.
• Computer skills.
• Good knowledge of UAE banking practices, regulations, and risks.
• General awareness of competitors in the local market.
