Role Overview
Irrigation Engineer at HanmiGlobal Saudi. The role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of irrigation systems across various projects.
Role Purpose
Design, develop, and manage efficient and sustainable irrigation solutions that meet project requirements and environmental standards, working collaboratively with landscape architects and civil engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Engineering
- Design and develop irrigation systems including layout, hydraulic calculations, and equipment selection.
- Evaluate and recommend irrigation technologies and water-saving solutions.
Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate irrigation systems with landscape and civil designs.
- Support procurement processes by specifying irrigation materials and equipment.
Site Management & Compliance
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation and functioning of irrigation systems.
- Assist in commissioning and troubleshooting irrigation systems during and after installation.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical documents, specifications, and reports related to irrigation works.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- At least 12 years of experience in irrigation design, installation, and management.
- Familiarity with Saudi local standards and regulations is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in irrigation design software and AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of water resource management, hydraulics, and soil-water-plant relationships.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
