iOS Engineer

Role Overview

Ziina is hiring an iOS Engineer to join its team in the UAE. The company has established a strong product foundation and is seeking someone to build engaging new features, maintain high quality standards, and help shape the engineering organization.

Role Purpose

To develop high-quality iOS applications that deliver exceptional user experience and keep users' funds safe. You will own features end-to-end—from design through implementation, polish, shipping, and monitoring—while helping the team build a modern architecture that enables rapid feature delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Feature Development

• Collaborate with product, design, operations, and engineering teams to identify features and solutions that deliver maximum value to the business and best user experience.
• Own and ship end-to-end reliable, scalable, and maintainable software that stands the test of time.
• Take features from design through implementation, polish, shipping, monitoring, and progress measurement.

Architecture & Engineering Excellence

• Design and build modern architecture that enables the team to build, test, and ship new features quickly.
• Improve mobile developer experience to reduce time-to-market for new features.
• Write clean, high-quality, testable, and well-documented code.

Culture & Collaboration

• Help shape engineering culture by introducing good practices and methods of knowledge-sharing.

Qualifications & Experience

• 2+ years of experience building iOS applications.
• Strong background in Swift and/or SwiftUI.
• Based in, or open to relocating to, the UAE.
