Role Overview
Internal Medicine Nurse (207678) at Nahdi. This is an indoor clinical nursing position working 6 days per week, 8 net working hours per shift according to the approved shift schedule.
Role Purpose
Provide comprehensive nursing care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice in clinics or the emergency department, while ensuring clinic readiness, patient safety, and adherence to all established policies, protocols, and clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care & Assessment
- Complete nursing assessment and document medical history from patient.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in clinics or emergency department as assigned.
- Provide patient care according to established policies and evidence-based practice.
- Act as an advocate for patients and families.
Documentation & Communication
- Document all relevant information correctly, appropriately, and in a timely manner.
- Report equipment failures, safety, security issues, and supply inventory reduction to nurse supervisor.
Clinic Operations & Preparation
- Ensure the clinic is ready for effective use by the physician from consumable material stock level and medical equipment standpoint.
- Maintain awareness of resource utilization, exercising care in the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials.
Safety, Compliance & Standards
- Comply with all policies, procedures, clinical protocols, standards, and guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Comply with policies for personal and patient safety and for the prevention of healthcare associated infections.
- Promote a safe environment and safe patient care by embracing a safety culture.
- Adhere to Medicines Management for the safe keeping and administration of medication.
Collaboration & Continuity
- Cooperate and work effectively with other professionals in the multi-disciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
Quality & Performance
- Contribute to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction.
- Contribute to the achievement of cost efficiency savings on unit.
Professional Development
- Participate in self-education, training, and development as applicable.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required.
Experience
- 2 years of clinical experience following the degree is required.
- No experience is required for Saudis with Bachelor's Degree.
Licensure & Certification
- Current Registered Nurse Licensure from country of origin is required.
- Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) license is required.
Skills & Competencies
- Healthcare Information System proficiency.
- English and Arabic fluent speaking.

- Work environment: 100% indoors.
- Work schedule: 6 working days per week, 1 day off per week.
- Working hours: 8 net working hours per shift according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
- The employee's duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities; the manager can assign other duties based on business need.
