Role Overview

Internal Auditor – QHSE at Ali & Sons Holding LLC. This role supports the execution of the Group-wide QHSE auditing programme across a diversified portfolio of businesses.

Ali & Sons is a diversified holding company with multiple business entities requiring coordinated quality, health, safety and environmental governance.

Role Purpose

To plan, execute and report on QHSE and operational audits across Group entities, assess the effectiveness of internal controls against standards and regulations, identify improvement opportunities, and drive practical actions that strengthen compliance, efficiency and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Audit Planning and Execution

• Plan, prepare and execute scheduled QHSE and risk-based operational audits across Group entities.
• Develop audit scopes by identifying relevant internal controls, processes and risk areas.
• Coordinate and conduct special audits, investigations and ad-hoc assignments with minimal supervision.

Controls and Compliance Assessment

• Assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls against applicable standards, regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Evaluate the adequacy of internal controls to mitigate identified risks.

Findings and Reporting

• Document audit findings, observations and improvement opportunities clearly and accurately.
• Prepare high-quality Audit Reports and Executive Summary Reports for management.
• Follow up with management on corrective and remedial actions to ensure timely closure.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost savings through audit recommendations.
• Support the development, implementation and enhancement of audit tools and methodologies to improve audit efficiency.
• Create, review and maintain Internal Audit policies, procedures and plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated auditing experience.
• Certified Internal Auditor qualifications for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 and ISO 27001 is essential.
• Certified Internal Auditor qualification for API Spec Q1 & Q2 is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant QHSE standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in risk-based operational auditing, internal controls and compliance assessment.
