Role Overview

Intern Power Grids position with DNV (Det Norske Veritas) in the UAE. This role is ideal for motivated Graduate Electrical Engineers passionate about field-based work with critical electrical assets and advanced measuring instruments.

Role Purpose

Support consulting assignments in electrical engineering by conducting field inspections, testing, and measurement of electrical assets, while assisting in data analysis and technical reporting as part of a collaborative international team.

Key Responsibilities

Fieldwork & Operations

• Conduct fieldwork involving inspection, testing, and measurement of electrical assets.
• Utilize advanced measuring instruments during field assignments.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards during all activities.

Analysis & Reporting

• Assist in analyzing data from electrical engineering projects.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.

Collaboration

• Support consulting assignments related to electrical engineering projects.
• Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Master's degree in a relevant specialization is preferred.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the UAE.
• Interest in a consulting role with fieldwork exposure.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong working knowledge of relevant engineering tools used during academic projects.
