Role Overview

Intern position at Apparel Group. The role is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver outstanding customer service and support store operations to drive sales growth, maintain visual merchandising standards, and ensure a positive retail experience aligned with brand values.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards following the company selling guideline: GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across various brands in the group for suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Presentation

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and meet standard layout norms.
• Follow all visual merchandising guidelines and maintain stock norms on clearance items.
• Record inventory inward and outward movements and maintain reports.

Point of Sale & Transactions

• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.

Store Operations & Security

• Perform various operational duties such as store maintenance as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance of store security at all times without negligence.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.

Grooming & Flexibility

• Maintain a presentable and well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Remain flexible to work extended hours during the sale period.
• Work varied shifts and overtime as per business requirement.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through vigilant monitoring.
